You are getting there, maybe try to use some force with your milk pitcher, push it forward a little bit in the beginning towards the end of the cup and then start to wiggle really smooth and gently move backwards.

I think it might also help to slow down the pull-through at the end. In a taller cup, a faster and/or heavier pull-through will completely destroy the leaf pattern.
I have to slow down the pull-through in to-go cups, or fughedaboutit
