Can anyone give me an opinion on this im entering my first barista comp in 3 weeks and scared as hell... this is the pattern im concidering using and im using a dark chocolate as my shacker to make a stronger marble effect. This photo is off my camera phone so the photo quality is not the best

i like it a lot! the symmetry is good, and it looks like a difficult pour! you did very well, and good luck!
Gappy Says:
I like it. I came away from my first comp. deciding that I needed to concentrate on designs that I could pour with shaking hands
. I found also time to be a factor, 8 min to produce 6 coffees sounded like a lot of time until I had cameras in my face and judges watching me. Good luck Screech. Let us all know how you go.
Screech Says:
oh and gappy i also blitzed the time...
we had 12 mins to pour 4 black 4 white 4 latte art... by the time i got to the latte art i had about 5 mins left after pouring the shots. Also by the time i was upto the latte art my nerves had gone and was easy to pour under pressure... it was my white coffee that let me down too... was not thinking when i was pouring and i didn't have the creme ring around the top
