When I was about 6 my grandma worked in the cafe at MYER in Brisbane. This gives me horrible flashbacks, LOL! AHHHH! No wonder I never drank espresso again until I was 19!
luzidownunder Says:
come on gys.. that's modern art..
freaksinc Says:
I still know old ladys who spoon foam onto capp's to get that "height"......to tell you the truth if i was served that i'd throw it at the coffee maker ( can't call people who make shit coffee a barista )
agenthousewife Says:
I have a woman who comes in all the time who INSISTS on having foam like that on top of her latte (yes, you read that right... I have to make a "no foam latte with a second pitcher of SUPER dry foam" and she WATCHES me so I do it the way she wants... I then have to serve it with a spoon and she eats the foam off the top like it's a dessert. I swear, the woman is deranged.
I've written out a card with pictures on it so my team knows EXACTLY how she likes her drink when she comes in and asks for a "really wet capp", ha ha ha ha!
scollard Says:
I don't mean to tell you how to run your shop but where I work we would tell her, "no thats not a cap" But Kudos for putting up with her.

Though this isn't ANYTHING like the capps i make for myself or others, there's still something to be appreciated about it. I'm sure that if the shots were quality, then it wasn't a bad experience. Just a very... different one.
luzidownunder Says:
I think.. if the shot is great and the milk isn't burned.. that's fine for people who love it.. why not! ![]()
I would never drink it.. and never make it as well... but I still think that's quite funny.. at least there is some passion behind... even if it's a little bit different.. ![]()
and @scollard.. isn't that great service for customers? If there's enough time.. why not?
ohbilly Says:
if it moves, run
sick guy Says:
nice milk how did you get it so amazingly fluffy really impressive one there
cariad Says:
That's hilarious. The woman who used to run the cafe I volunteer in tried to get me to make caps like this. I just smiled and nodded, and went back to making them the way I always did. That's an abomination
sschat Says:
you mean the rosetta in on her shirt, on the right?
